"foralex" is part of a series of silent art videos created for a class and became a fixture in Social Anxiety At Riverwalk , one of my blogs.
This piece is based on the demise of a character from a film. Beaten about the head (in the end she suffers twenty-one blows to her skull), she falls into a coma.
With certain movements repeated and dispersed along the timeline, every loop becomes something as violent as what happened to this character. The eye of the storm becomes likened to a life form being repeatedly bashed against the upper right-hand of the screen before spinning into unconsciousness.
