Culled from old footage, En Pointe is 30 seconds of ballet shoes at work. In a dream-like, empty hallway they try to get their bearings but are controlled by the inner workings of the music box that choreograph them. In a way this is an allusion to the classic melodrama The Red Shoes (1948).
