Sharp Teeth
by Toby Barlow
Gargoyle Magazine
and Paycock Press
O'Grady is an artist and activist whose latest work, Outside The Ark, focuses on her experiences living in occupied Palestine, both through the written word and unforgettable imagery.
A cross between Homer and a horror film, Sharp Teeth is a story about a dogcatcher, a detective and warring packs of werewolves in L.A. All the more interesting is that the story unfolds like James Ellroy writing in verse.
Since 1976 Gargoyle Magazine has been exposing unknown writers and poets to the public and continues to do so to this day. Compilations are available through their publishing host, Paycock Press.
