Beating About The Pink was the final product one of my school assignments, a blog titled Social Anxiety At Riverwalk.
This piece sticks to three basic colors- blue, white and pink- as much as is possible, blending and beating them together. Sidewalks appear momentarily blue, water appears momentarily white, and so on. It becomes very confusing.
This piece is also crafted to visually mimic the sensation of blood draining and rushing to the brain, blurred vision, and distorted perceptions. The main character of this piece (if there is one) appears to be in several places at once- in her memory, within her present situation, and on her way to transcending it... although I'm finding that is up to interpretation as well.
